Content Guidelines

Chia strives to provide services that all users can use safely and securely. Chia strictly monitors content related to the following as violating content.

• Content intended to facilitate or solicit dating, obscene acts, prostitution, compensated dating, or similar activities, regardless of whether involving different-sex or same-sex interactions, including dating-service content, compensated dating, prostitution or solicitation content, and requests for email friends
• Adult content, sexual expression, content containing excessive exposure, or content that directs users to such content, including links to age-restricted websites, applications, or social media, uncensored images, and sexual services
• Sexual expression, nudity, non-consensual sexual images or videos, deepfake content, revenge pornography, sexual exploitation expression, or content that promotes, distributes, or directs users to such content, whether created by AI generation or any other method and involving real persons or persons who evoke real persons
• Child sexual abuse, child sexual exploitation, child pornography, sexual expression evoking minors, or content that promotes or directs users to such content
• Abuse of animals, cruelty to animals, acts causing excessive suffering to animals, or content that promotes such acts
• Defamation, hate speech, discrimination, violence, exclusion, or hatred, or other content constituting unjust attacks against specific individuals or organizations
• Content containing expressions or formats that are contrary to public order and morals or that Chia reasonably determines significantly impair the social credibility or dignity of Chia services
• Impersonation, false representation of identity, or acts that may mislead third parties
• False information, misleading content, fake news, fake support, fake celebrity accounts, or other content that may cause social confusion or harm to third parties, whether created by AI generation or any other method
• Illegal drugs, dangerous drugs, or substances equivalent thereto
• Excessively violent, cruel, grotesque, or highly offensive expression, including grotesque depictions, wounds, and blood
• Content related to fraud or fraudulent acts, including content impersonating real companies, organizations, or customer support
• Content constituting discrimination based on race, nationality, creed, sex, sexual orientation, social status, family origin, or similar attributes
• Solicitation to religious, ideological, or other organizations or groups involving illegal acts, fraudulent solicitation, excessive psychological pressure, or anti-social activities
• Distribution of, inducement to, or content related to viruses, malware, phishing, spyware, or other malicious programs
• Content that violates or may violate terms of use or other rules established by third parties, including real-money trading
• Content constituting acts that cause nuisance to others, including hacking services and spam email
• Content intended to enable or induce unauthorized access to audio content, video or audio content, video games, software, streaming services, or other content that is normally paid
• Content that promotes illegal acts, including instructions on manufacturing weapons, unauthorized sales, or guidance for illegal acts
• Content constituting the sale, solicitation, or brokerage of illegal or regulated goods or services
• Content related to malicious business practices, including pyramid schemes and quasi-multilevel marketing schemes, or content that solicits such practices
• Content involving the provision of benefits to anti-social forces or other cooperation with such forces
• Content concerning disasters, accidents, infectious diseases, social unrest, or other serious events that contains false information, excessively incites anxiety, misleads users, or is generated or posted primarily for advertising revenue, search traffic, or traffic acquisition
• Content that uses the name of a real person or a proper noun that evokes a real person and is structured around that person, including evaluations, rumors, reconstruction of career history, third-party commentary, introductions, and summaries, where the content is not an official communication or primary information by that person and the explicit involvement or permission of that person cannot be confirmed
• Content generated in large quantities by bots or other automated means, spam intended to induce unauthorized traffic, or similar content
• Content that reproduces, duplicates, restructures, or posts in large quantities content published by the user or a third party without substantial originality or added value, or content that repeatedly posts identical or substantially identical material
• Acts of mass-generating content without substantial informational value primarily for the purpose of manipulating search engine rankings or acquiring traffic, or other content that Chia reasonably determines may impair the search engine evaluation, reliability, or brand value of Chia domains or subdomains
• Content that uses third-party names, trademarks, personal names, reputation, credibility, or similar matters in a manner that causes misunderstanding or confusion, including site names, URLs, page titles, descriptions, keywords, and meta information
• Content intended to steal, obtain by deception, unlawfully collect, or unlawfully use personal information, or content that promotes such acts
• Unauthorized or unregistered financial services, fraudulent or highly illegal speculative products, crypto-asset-related misconduct, or content intended to solicit such matters
• Content that reproduces, publicly transmits, reposts, distributes, or uses text, lyrics, music, video, images, software, or other copyrighted works without permission from the copyright holder or other rights holder
• Content that posts all or a substantial part of lyrics, book text, full articles, or similar copyrighted works without authorization
• Content that can be determined to use intellectual property without permission from the rights holder, including links to such content
• Other content that Chia determines to be inappropriate under its terms

For content containing any of the above, Chia may take necessary measures, including suspension of content distribution, temporary suspension of the account, permanent suspension of the account, or other measures.

If content is posted from outside Japan, or if content is published, displayed, or distributed toward users outside Japan, the user shall, at the user’s own responsibility, confirm and comply with the laws, regulations, third-party rights, advertising and display rules, and other restrictions of the relevant country or region. Chia does not guarantee that user content can be lawfully published, displayed, distributed, or used in any particular country or region.

If a claim of rights infringement is made, if required by law, or if Chia determines it necessary, Chia may, without prior notice, take necessary measures including making content private, deleting content, suspending publication, restricting accounts, or taking other measures.

As a general rule, Chia does not become involved in disputes between users or between users and third parties. However, Chia may take necessary measures to the extent required by law or deemed necessary by Chia.

The user who posts content is responsible for rights clearance and legal compliance concerning such content.
